In general permits and the resulting inspections are required for work including: foundation, framing and structural roofing members; room additions; new or replaced doors, windows, sheet rock, electrical wiring, water, sewer and gas piping, installing a fence taller than 6’, building a driveway, installing a pre-fabricated storage building.Building & Permits

Permits and inspections are not required for painting and the replacement of non-structural roof covering; e.g., shingles, asphalt.Building & Permits

Permits for fences less than 6’ in height are not required. The height of the fence is limited to 4’ in the front yard and cannot interfere with traffic sight distances at corners.Building & Permits
