We do not allow the drivers to get out of the truck to collect extra garbage placed beside the container. The routes are constructed so that the driver has very limited time between stops, this keeps the required number of trucks to a minimum. If we started collecting every extra bag on a route we would never make it to the end of the route. If you can catch the driver while he is there he will be glad to wait while you reload the can for him to empty. If you frequently have more trash than your cart will hold you can request a second cart.Sanitation
