Commend an Officer

If you have had a positive experience with one of our officers and would like to recognize their exemplary service, we encourage you to share your thoughts. Whether they provided assistance during a challenging time, displayed outstanding professionalism, or made a lasting impact on you or the community, we want to hear about it!

To commend an officer:

  1. Submit a Commendation Form: You can complete a commendation form in person at the Brownwood Police Department, or you can fill out the from our website here: Compliment or Commend an Officer
  2. Describe Your Experience: Include details of your interaction with the officer, including the officer’s name (if known), the date and location, and any specific actions or behaviors that stood out to you.
  3. Submit the Form: Once completed, you can submit the form in person, by mail, or through our online submission system.

Your compliment or commendation will be forwarded to the officer and their supervisor, and it will be part of their personnel record, serving as a recognition of their dedication and service to our community.

Recognition and Appreciation
