Preparation for new cement trail are underway.
City of Brownwood crews will begin removing parts of the Coggin Park walking trail on Monday, July 10th in preparation for the new cement trail. Construction will include 2,700 linear feet of 8’ wide cement trail. Selection of this project follows the 2023 Parks Master Plan as part of the park specific improvement implementation plan.
During the time of construction, we ask that any visitors to the park use caution and avoid construction areas. The new trail is scheduled to be
completed by the end of September.
